Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher to Speak at Lansing, MI April 15th Tea Party
When: April 15, 2009, 12 Noon to 1:00PM
Where: The State Capital Building
100 N. Capitol Ave, Lansing, MI
The organizers of the Lansing, MI Tax Day Tea party are proud to announce that "Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher will be speaking at our April 15, Tax Day Tea Party.
"Joe the Plumber" is an ordinary man who was not afraid to publicly question a national politician.
"I am so excited to be a co-speaker along with 'Joe the Plumber'. Joe showed just how powerful one average citizen could be. All he did was ask a question but that question rocked the 2008 election and showed us all that We the People are still a force to be reckoned with in this country" says Wendy Day, community activist.
Joan Fabiano, one of the event organizers goes on to say, "Joe, being from the Midwest himself understands the dire economic conditions in Michigan."
The protest is one of over 300 hundred to be held at the same time in cities and towns all across the United States. Tea parties will also be held in Chicago, Washington, Atlanta, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Fort Worth, San Diego, Portland, Ore., and at hundreds of other locations around the United States.
In addition to the local grassroots organizers, New Patriot Revolution, the Michigan Tea Party is backed by Americans for Prosperity and bi-partisan taxpayer groups from across the State.
